  Mar 08,  · The best 'Butthole Surfers' Live album on double vinyl!!! This LP is outstanding. The recording is very good and the concert itself must have been amazing to see live. It contains many of their early notable tracks as well as an REM cover ('The One I Love', Track B5) which is obviously a classic in its own right/5().

  Digital format issued for free on Butthole Surfers' website with downloadable front and rear artwork. track is not listed on the artwork from website: "Since it's doubtful this will ever be reissued again, here all the songs in the MP3 format, for those who want it but are reluctant to cough up the bucks or so for an original copy on Ebay/5(5).

  Essentially a self-released bootleg, Double Live is a mammoth collection of 29 songs (on the CD version) featuring a cover of R.E.M.'s "The One I Love." Unfortunately, the band can't quite duplicate its manic studio sound onstage, given their reliance on tape .

  Initially, 'Double Live' was made as a limited edition of 10, vinyl copies, 7, cassette copies and 4, compact disc copies. Even harder for me to believe, I don't think I've ever seen an actual copy of this live BS offering - in any independent record store that I used to so frequently go through (when most of them still existed).5/5(4).
